The Void Series, 57” x 54”

Tao as creator, artist as brush. Copeland’s Appalachian Spring is the basis of this series. The birth of life from the depths of winter symbolizes the principle of all things mutually arising from Tao. Co-creating this art with the client, additional music is inlaid as the piece is built, integrating the clients’ choice of color and music into the final art artwork.

Amala Maeve-Matthews Retrospective, Textile Exhibition

Hangings designed and created by Jahnay Pickett and “The Hanging Committee” (Marge Joy, Karen Alexander and Lynn Rutter).
